The Town of Wareham

Situated at the head of Buzzards Bay, Wareham offers a unique residential location with all the tourist amenities of Cape Cod and easy traveling distance to Boston and Providence.  In about an hour, you can be in the Greater Boston area, while Providence is only 45 minutes away!  Wareham offers over 54 miles of coastline beaches,  a public USGA golf course, and plenty of seaside eateries and eclectic shops!  You can also enjoy a relaxing canal cruise, whale watching, kayaking and fishing at the town pier, or spend a relaxing day basking in the sun in the white sandy beaches.  Mark your calendar for the Annual Swan Festival in July and Cranberry Harvest Celebration each October!

Wareham is conducive to easy living in a seaside atmosphere.  With an agricultural and shipbuilding past dating back to the 1700’s, Wareham has evolved into a diversified industrial, high-tech and commercial economy poised for continued growth.  Home of the A.D. Makepeace Company, the world’s largest cranberry grower, they recently opened Rosebrook Business Park.   The Southcoast Health System medical building represents the first phase of the proposed plans including a mixed-use retail center.  www.rosebrookplace.net

Just down the road, enjoy the Shops at Wareham Crossing featuring over 35 retail and dining options including favorites like Loft, DSW, Old Navy, Target, TJMaxx, Starbucks, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Zen just to name a few!  www.warehamcrossing.com
